NOTICE OF PRIVACY
Revista Biomédica of the Regional Research Center "Dr. Hideyo Noguchi "of the Autonomous University of Yucatan, in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals, makes your knowledge the following:
1. Revista Biomédica only collects sensitive personal data for the following purposes: 1) for identification purposes in scientific publications, 2) for statistical purposes of the same journal, and 3) to eventually contact you via email or telephone, in order to share news of scientific, medical, social, general interest, etc.
2. That your personal data will never be disclosed or shared with third parties, nor will it be used differently than indicated in the first point.
3. That it will treat and safeguard your personal data based on the principles of legality, quality, consent, information, purpose, loyalty, proportionality and responsibility enshrined in the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Individuals.
4. That the person responsible for handling your personal data is M.C. Alicia Zapata Peraza, who currently serves as Assistant Editor of the Biomedical Journal of the “Dr. Hideyo Noguchi” Regional Research Center of the Autonomous University of Yucatán, located at Calle 59 x Avenida Itzáes, Centro, C.P. 97000, Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico.
5. That with respect to your personal data, you can exercise the rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and/or Opposition (Right ARCO) by sending an email to the following address: revbiomed@correo.uady.mx.
To process your request, it must meet all requirements set out in Article 29 of the "Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals".
6. Revista Biomédica reserves the right to modify this Privacy Notice in the future. In any case, any modification to it will be made aware of it by sending an email to the account you provided us and/or by publishing it on the Web page: http // www.cirbiomedicas.uady.mx
7. Revista Biomédica will not be responsible if you do not receive the notice of change in the Privacy Notice, if there is any problem with your email account, or data transmission over the Internet. However, for your safety, the current Privacy Notice will be available at all times on the Web page indicated in the previous point.
